During the current weather, the site has been extremely busy at certain times, as a result the live camera pages have caused the website to fall over.
To maintain the reliability of the site, the quality of the live cameras is now reduced when there is a lot of people viewing them.

- A standard image is around 45kb (and will stay at this size when less than 10 people are viewing)
- When there are between 10-19 people viewing the filesize is reduced to around 30kb
- When there are more than 19 people, the filesize is reduced to around 15kb
We will be keeping an eye on the server load and may have to reduce the sizes further and/or decrease the camera refresh time.
